Meet Cristina Viscu, a 21 year old dreamer and USSR transplant who believes in adventures and the power of a photograph.
“I’ve lived in the US for five years, graduated college at 20 and set off to travel. I was always an alien wherever I went, even when I came close to places I thought were close to heart. I can only feel at home when I’m on the road or when I feel inbetween places. Photography carries memories of my wonderlust and my fleeting youth. I’m an adventurer born in the USSR who ran away to the USA and then moved back to post-USSR only to relocate to NYC in the end. It’s always been complicated like that. I think people need to take risks earlier in life until the ties and boundaries of adult life pull them down.”
